I dislike the fascist militaries of the world as much as the next guy, but maybe insinuating that someone deserves to get sexually assaulted because of their job is in bad taste.
The Navy’s Military Sealift Command operates 130 civilian-crewed ships that replenish Navy ships, conduct special missions and strategically move and preposition cargo at sea around the world. The Coast Guard manages necessary licenses to work aboard the ships, which is why its investigative service got involved.
Yes and in order for that to happen you need to murder-rape militants to not be murder-rape militants because if they’re murder-rape militants then they’re going to
a) murder
b) rape
So if she doesn’t want to get raped she should not be part of the murder-rape militants because that’s literally what they do
And look at you celebrating raping people you don’t like.
What other occasions do you think it’s fun to celebrate someone being raped over? Do you have a list of people you think it’s acceptable to rape?
And before you start, I’m not interested in defending any imperialist forces. I’m just curious about the mind of someone who thinks rape is fun sometimes.
No, I am defending a human being. And questioning why you would say these things about another person, unless you’re a literal llm scalping data off people’s rage responses to your bait, in which case props to whoever owns you.
What the fuck are you trying to advocate for here, materially speaking? That men can and/or should rape women on US navy ships? I don’t want to put words in your mouth but that is what it sounds like.
I’m not defending the crimes this woman helped perpetrate, I’m asking what material actions you are advocating for.
For example, I believe that the rapist should be punished, this woman needs help with the resulting PTSD, and the entire military needs to be dismantled with appropriate punishments for all involved. Requiring them to do labor rebuilding countries they destroyed would be a good start, with harsher punishment for people doing actual war crimes themselves. Being physically violated by a man who’s also an accessory to war crimes is not a valid punishment, it does not advance any of the societal goals of punishment (deterrence, incapacitation, rehabilitation, retribution), to speak nothing of how inhumane and cruel it is.
Killing active-duty US military members to prevent them from engaging in their usual war crimes is OK because it serves a clear goal (incapacitate the soldier, deter other soldiers from joining).
Raping active-duty US military members is not OK because it does not serve any goal, she has PTSD now but that won’t stop her from doing more work for the military, and it does nothing to deter men from joining the military (if anything it may be a more enticing proposition for the target audience)
The question is not whether or not someone “deserved” something, it is “which material outcome do we want to achieve”.
Because you are refusing to answer my simple question of what you are advocating for, I will assume my initial assumption is correct. It seems the material outcome you want to achieve is terrible suffering for women in US military, not the prevention of war crimes by US military. While understandable that you want to hurt “bad people” like that, it’s not helpful at all.
You are once again completely ignoring the material reality and instead focusing on whether or not that woman “deserved” to be raped (that phrase has terrible connotations btw, this whole thread needs a large CW on it).
Whether or not someone deserves something is basically emotional and thus idealist, but its material roots are in the total social advantage of giving out a benefit or punishment to a given person. Therefore this is the angle we should take.
If we examine the material outcomes resulting from an active US military member being raped by a colleague, there is very little positive results there. For the victim, trauma does not prevent one from being violent and aggressive, if anything it exacerbates it. The perpetrator meanwhile will be enabled and mentally prepared for even more atrocities against their other victims. For everyone else, it normalizes a horrible behavior that has no place in society.
Then again, even form an idealist angle, I don’t think anyone deserves to be raped. Unlike killing, it is never a valid method of defense, because it requires that the target is already overpowered by the perpetrator. It does not serve any possible function other than satisfying the sexual/sadistic/controlling desires of the perpetrator at the expense of the victim.
Without doing any reverse image searching outside of my own memory its either a zionist standing over a Palestinian teenager or a Guantanamo ‘guard’ posing next to someone from whichever middle eastern country america was dropping depleted uranium shells on at the time.

Also, not to belabour the point;
Civilian crewed ships.
So non-combatants.
Without the logistics chain the murder rape machine cannot operate. She is as much part of it as the frontline rapists. “Civilian ships” lol
I am aware, merely suggesting that you don’t celebrate the rape of a woman just because of her job.
Maybe don’t do the job
Yes a totally normal “job” of killing and raping brown people
And that gives you carte blanche to gleefully mock her being sexually assaulted, does it?
What a pleasant person you are.
Look at you defending a mass rape-murder participant. Very brave.
Wtf are you even saying, her punishment should not be raped by other raping troops that doesn’t solve anything.

It’s the answer to the question “who raped her”.

Are you going to weep for Epstein associates if they get raped too?
No, I am defending a human being. And questioning why you would say these things about another person, unless you’re a literal llm scalping data off people’s rage responses to your bait, in which case props to whoever owns you.

It’s just a case of not being racist you should try it once.
Those goalposts must be heavy.
on the other hand they fucking rape kill and oppress people in the name of a fascist empire.
i’m not shedding a tear for these people in light of what they keep doing to us.
I wish us had your certainty. Me, I need a trial to condemn someone.
You need a trail to know if someone is part of the military?
are they holding a fair trial and judgement before they rape their victims?

She was just a woman serving in the rape-terror forces. She doesn’t deserve the stuff she’s doing to brown untermenschen in the third world.
Nobody deserves to be raped. End of story. You don’t use rape as a form of punishment. End of story, you’re making yourself look awful.
What the fuck are you trying to advocate for here, materially speaking? That men can and/or should rape women on US navy ships? I don’t want to put words in your mouth but that is what it sounds like.
All the “leopard ate my face” liberals come running to defend their favorite Fascist troops.
Answer their question your fucking coward.

What about you?
If an ISIS militant gets killed do you also go “well they totally didn’t deserve that”?

Who raped her but the rape-terror forces she joined herself?
This is peak leapardsatemyface and you’re out here saying the person didn’t deserve to have their face eaten by a leopard.
Just women? What kind of sexist are you?

That’s not an image of her.
Who is it an image of?
Without doing any reverse image searching outside of my own memory its either a zionist standing over a Palestinian teenager or a Guantanamo ‘guard’ posing next to someone from whichever middle eastern country america was dropping depleted uranium shells on at the time.
Ding ding we have a winner!

In human words, please explain how that woman’s actions justify any of what you have said.

Are you aware? You sure don’t seem to be since you’re so empathic towards it. Or let me guess those brown people piled up there aren’t human to you
