The 1990 looks like 1890. I’d suggest that makes it the timeless decor.
Wanted to say that. The new one could use a few colored highlights, while the top one is stuffy and overloaded as hell.
Hallway wallpaper is great, bedroom one is definitely a bit ugly though I agree
