Played some more of Darksiders 3 and Xuan Yuan Sword: Mists Beyond the Mountains. Not much to add here.

Started couple of other games. Started Tom Clancy’s The Division with friends. I played a little bit of it a while ago, and while I liked the world building and the gameplay loop, but game started feeling repititive. Now playing with friends, so hopefully won’t have that issue. Played a few missions and so far so good.

Also started Hard West on Switch 2. It’s a turn based tactics game in wild west. It has couple of interesting mechanism, like luck. Each time someone shoots at you, your luck reduces (depending on distance, cover etc), and when your luck is down the shot hits you. You can also shoot people through cover. There is also an area map, where you can do a few things (depending on the campaign)

What about all of you? What have you been playing and/or plan to play?

It’s been a busy week and I’ve spent a lot of time dreaming of Little Rocket Lab while grading papers. I’ve hit the point in the game where there are no easy factory lines and the advanced assembly plants are a requirement for everything. The urge to start over is so strong because of that organizational instinct in my mind to keep a neat and efficient island. But my messy layout of conveyor belts is charming enough that I keep at it, delivering research materials and unlocking new items slowly.

I’m so glad I bought it!

As always, I’m playing Octopath Traveler Champions of the Continent.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is on hold because I’m still mad about getting trounced twice in a battle. It’ll be a while before FF pulls me back since I am in handheld mode as my knitting spouse binges through West Wing for the first time.

Oh! I’m running a 2nd session of a D&D one-shot today, too! Maybe we’ll get to the end this time?

I want to get Little Rocket Lab, but with Pokémon Pokopia and Tomodachi Life coming out soon, I’ll have my fill of farming / management game for the time. I am not sure yet which one of these I’ll buy, will probably wait for the review.

Good luck with your D&D session! (though I am a bit late for that 😀 )
