31·4 days agoDepends on how dumb a TV you’re talking about. You may need to downconvert the video signal to something the TV accepts.
My current project is getting a bunch of old consoles connected here:
TV supports Coaxial, Composite, S-Video, and Component. So most of the consoles can just connect directly.
The Xbox One is HDMI only, so I need to downconvert that:

My personal preference is more radical than that… full military intervention, separate the Israelis from the Palestinians, arrest Bibi and the rest of Likud and set up full war crimes tribunals.
But nobody has the political capital for that.

It doesn’t matter if it’s conditional or not, the Genocide will continue as it’s not dependent on our aid. They started it in Gaza before our aid even got there.
Used for the genocide != why we supplied them. That’s the key difference the folks screaming “GEnOcIdE!” can’t grasp.
Israel has a right to defend itself, same as any other country. Where they go off the rails is using our support offensively and not defensively, but that doesn’t mean we’re going to stop supporting them.
People forget that food contamination isn’t limited to meat products.

Quite a lot of the misinformation out of PA stems from a willful ignorance of how all this stuff works.
For example… the voter registration drives turning in invalid registrations:

When you do a voter registration drive, you are legally obligated to submit all registrations, valid or not. The only entity with the legal authority to reject registrations as valid is the State Secretary of State office.
This is because, back in the day, parties would do registration drives and just shit-can any registration for opposing parties.
Now, even if some dumbass fills out a registration for “Mickey Mouse” or “Superman”, it STILL has to be submitted to the Secretary of State for rejection.
That’s not “voter fraud”.
