True, but this is all applicants as it’s a third party website. So likely not a huge issue, but it does lead me to believe there are other issues with their data handling.

Would you hire someone for it if they willingly put in their SSN to a random sketchy, unsecure looking website? I have never had another online application ask for that.

After having stability issues with Ubuntu I switched to fedora. It just works. If you need to install something with the terminal just Google how to install program fedora and you’ll find some simple commands to copy and paste. Just make sure you understand what you’re inputting.

I wouldn’t equate installing proxmox on an old pc to open heart surgery. It’s pretty basic stuff and you can follow guides on how to install services in a container or vm. People are interested in things like pihole, home assistant, arr stacks, nas, and better control over their network. It’s definitely not rocket surgery.

You could use a math trade software. Instead of putting in items just have everyone select each other’s names. Or you could just do a math trade where everyone enters an item and then everything gets randomly traded somewhat like a white elephant but anonymized.

Many states don’t require any kind of license to be a mediator. You can meditate court cases, and legal disputes. It’s because meditation is about the two parties coming to an agreement on their own so you’re just there as a neutral third party.

I installed an external antenna for mine pointed directly at the nearest cell tower and it’s fine with multiple streams going. Before I did that it wasn’t very good. The annoying part is that there’s no access to settings in the router. I’m considering going to fiber for an extra $30/mo just because of the router issue.

Use a VPN, signal messenger, and a phone with graphine on it or at least a keyboard that doesn’t need Internet permissions. Also avoid social media and use browser extensions to block ads and scripts, plus use different browsers for different things and ddg or other private search engines. Pay cash and buy second hand whenever possible.

Had the same issue and it was my mouse causing the USB ports to stop working I realized that the clock was still working and it would go into hibernate. Just wouldn’t respond to mouse or kb.

The cameras themselves are simply trail cameras with GPS and a cell signal. The images get sent to a server for processing. I’m also sure that they send at least some images to be read by humans manually.

These also have Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. I’m convinced that they also connect mac addresses of your devices to determine who is driving. I also suspect that they use facial recognition when possible.

You might try Nizoral shampoo if you can find it. Leave it in for five minutes.

I own dullsters.net and i have been trying to clean out junk from previously abandoned projects and working on others. It has become a project in itself. There’s no shortage of 3d printers, computers, tools, and other things around here. I’m always doing some kind of diy. A lot of times out of necessity as things lately have been breaking more than usual. I’m also on a high level committee for an organization with the goal of growing an e-sports scene to help veterans. It just feels really weird to do cool and interesting things at home and have an easy entry level job that isn’t fulfilling and not seen as capable of anything more.
