Nerd, programmer, writer. I like making things!
Voyager is my favorite, but mlem is a close second for me
I downloaded the demo rom (from itch) to play on my anbernic sp tonight! I didn’t realize there was a nice little homebrew scene
Edit: Played it some, great game! They have little gates that take away abilities and it makes traversing a shared area really fun. Smart level design and the platforming is solid
Some people think if you’re not foaming at the mouth over this then you’re in total support. The threads have been bizarre
Little Inferno can be beaten in ~3 hours and… let me check… yes, it’s on mobile! It’s by the people that made World of Goo, don’t sleep on it
Hat in Time is a great modern 3D platformer, movement was fun and I liked the variety of characters across the levels. The Murder on the Owl Express quest was my favorite!
Most of the game is fantastic, but yeah my partner and I were surprised when that happened!
There was one other plot point where we raised our eyebrows, but I don’t know to do spoiler text
KNIFE FIGHT!!!
There’s a lot to do outside the main plot, the townspeople were really interactive. Great rec! The falling leaves give it a cozy vibe too
Frog Detective!
It’s a lighthearted detective series, more of a walking sim with humorous characters than anything. The magnifying glass doesn’t even do anything! The dev did a fun talk about comedy in games if you’re into that
Here’s a shot I got from the last game (corruption at cowboy county)
Love Ooblets! The dance battles are a fun little replacement for regular creature collecting fights, and they also scratch that deckbuilder itch.
We defederated from a few of the larger servers early on because of moderation problems. It’s a bit quieter without world but still very nice!
Everyone has phones!
Confirming they were available the day before!

The OLED update also helped create a secondary market of used/refurbished units, it was a pretty good decision
What about four-way race? Some states still have RFK on the ballot 🥴
The art style for this game is really interesting, it’s using untextured super high-res models and relying on Unreal’s Nanite stuff to make the environment look great. Will have to pick this up!
The post itself isn’t really on topic for the community anyway
Windows has the history thing built in with WIN+V, most of the other features seem unnecessary for 99% of users
I think they’re really useful, there are alternatives that I think have feature parity at this point but the concepts of containerization are the same
As a dev who recently released a game for the system (on sale now - only $1!), I’m pretty excited to see what gets included! It sounds like it’ll be all new games
