I’ve read numerous folks claiming it was a publicity stunt by the “victim”. Dunno if factual.
The milkshaker in question was arrested and is being charged for assault, so unlikely:
Might have better luck with property damage if it ruined the suit. But that’s just a civil case.

The guy getting milkshaked is Nigel Farage, a right-wing politician and all-round cunt, best known for being the biggest Brexit cheerleader. This incident happened yesterday as he was launching his election campaign - the UK is having a general election next month.
Further context: this is the second time this has happened; when he ran in 2019 he had milkshake thrown at him.
