A new post with 1 deleted comment shows as “comment symbol 0 (-1 New)”

… which looks goofy.

But not in this /c, maybe there’s some kind of /c setting that shows quantities of new comments?

Maybe I made and deleted the comment too soon after I created this post?

What if there was two new and one deleted, or 2 deleted and one new? It doesn’t need to be that granular. It’s just letting you know there has been a cha ge since last visit. Perhaps as it can be negative, changin to +1 comments, rather than +1 new makes sense. Then the negative number still makes sense.

You have to first read that post first before you can get -1 new. As the site check for any new comment, the site will display negative number if the comment happens to be less than last time you read the post.
