Don’t worry about upsetting us, saying the “wrong” thing, being “too much”, or whatever other unfair lessons we have been taught by society for being us. It’s okay. We get it. Sorry to poke my head in here, but if you could point me in the direction on how to communicate better with my 16yo son who is “high functioning?” On the spectrum? He’s into “gangsta lifestyle?” But anyways there’s too much to unpack. I support him and love him, and I think he knows it but I’d like to be able to help him more. All the ? Marks are because I’m not sure of the terms or if they offend, I’m just trying to ask for help. Thank you
