The era when companies sent out physical floppies, which could actually be usefully reused if you didn’t care about the content on them, was a lot better than the physical CD era.
If it weren’t for the fact that the Internet is cheaper and readers aren’t as universally-deployed as they were wirh floppies, SD cards being mailed could have been kinda neat.
If it came on a physical disc, you could use it as a frisbee. Or a drink coaster.
