The swap of aircraft carriers in the region comes as U.S. military leaders worry about troop morale with no end in sight to the Iran war. The USS George Washington is set to replace the Lincoln, a U.S. official said.
No, we’re in wartime we’re not in a declared war because the admin chose terrorism instead. I know it’s a weird concept but they aren’t the same thing. One means the executive has granted broad engagement authority. A declared war just means Congress agrees and limited war authority is lifted to gain basically unlimited war authority.
A special military operation just means we’re doing war stuff but don’t really want to have to explain anything about it to people that could do anything about it.
I will say I agree to some extent with your earlier comment. They aren’t people. They are government equipment and they should be treated as such. Every soldier suffering on their warship deserves this. I hope they regret this.
I agree, our perception or opinion doesn’t change reality.

Doing war stuff is war. War is when you do war stuff.
The idea that we can separate these two is gibberish.
I agree, international law does not agree and the congressional power to declare was does not agree.
Bombing kids is war stuff, we’re at war imo we’re just not in a declared war.
A distinction without a difference.

By this logic I shouldn’t hate ICE agents either.
