The New York Times reported in March that Netanyahu had embraced the Mossad’s promise of a popular revolt when he urged Trump into the war, and had grown frustrated when no uprising came.
A leaked US National Intelligence Council assessment, compiled days before the first strikes, had already concluded that even a large-scale assault was unlikely to dislodge Iran’s military and clerical leadership, and that an opposition takeover was improbable.

This confirms Mossad was unable to do it, doesn’t it. That means the Iranians aren’t as compromised by Mossad as it appeared during the 12-day war. At least not anymore.
It helps when a lot of the senior leadership gets killed off, including the assets.
It is also hard to revolt at the beginning of a war without being treated by the rest of the country as traitors.
