    … no?

Have you ever met a conventionally attractive, but socially awkward autist or serious introvert?

    Of any sex/gender?

    Some such people are women!

        thwaps you with a ruler

        No! No.

You don’t need to fix that.

You just need to be ok with also being an introvert / socially awkward person, and then you two can be eachother’s person who is generally less taxing and more enjoyable to socialize with than others.

I am awkward and stressed, but not an introvert! Under the right (wrong) circumstances, I can drown a person in conversation, and even be very excited to talk!

Since I will never bother someone by telling them they are kind of cute/asking them out, my only hope is that I get kidnaped by a crazy femcel!

Not sure if we’ve gone over this before, but that sounds like me 10-20 years ago: socially awkward in a usually endearing but sometimes extremely (unintentionally) inflammatory way.

            cough Autistic cough.

I know its scary but you really do just need to practice socializing a bit more, in person.

Probably safer to practice with other autists, if you can find them.

Being able to ask a person for something, politely, in a context appropriate way is an extremely important life skill. Yes, I know it really sucks and seems confusing as fuck because people do not actually make sense.

… But people do mostly make sense, most of the time. It just takes exposure, and courage.

I suspect ADHD, my brother has Asperger symptom. Could possibly be AuADHD?

Yeah, I appreciate you, and your advice!

We talked about stuff before, and I like you in general.

Asperger’s just is part of Autism now, the DSM V basically rolled up everything similar into Autism Spectrum Disorder, where there are a whole bunch of behavioral ‘dimensions’, and basically if your ‘total score’ exceeds a certain threshold, congrats you get the Autism achievement, lol.

99% sure anybody who was diagnosed/classified as Aspergers would now be essentially a ‘flavor’ of Autist.

There is also a significant genetic component to Autism… if your brother, mother, father have it, etc, more likely you will as well, or at least be higher on the ASD score than a normie from a family of normies.

AuDHD is Autism + ADHD, which can and do co-occur, but at least for myself, I’m just Autistic.

Anyway, this is all an overwrought way of me trying to say you have more options than consigning yourself to hope for a fantastic movie plot to occur to you.
