Most PC and gaming magazines come with DVDs. I really wouldn’t say that PCs with disk drives are uncommon here.
Did you guys have magazines with distro media back then? CentOS, Debian, Slackware, Mandrake, Knoppix, etc.
I’ve seen a few pics of those but it was before my time. I’ve only been into Linux since 2012 or so.
