The DNC ignorantly thought that if the politics of old white straight men were coming out of the mouth of a woman in 2016, it would be publicly palatable. Well, they realized that failed. They thought that if the politics of old white straight men were coming out of the mouth of a black woman in 2024, it would become publicly palatable. They were wrong again. People are tired of the oppressive status quo, regardless of whose mouth it’s coming out of.
