President Donald Trump’s administration said Tuesday that it is withholding funding for programs that support needy families with children in five Democratic-led states over concerns about fraud.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, which oversees the program, will require the states to provide extra documentation to access the funds.

“Families who rely on child care and family assistance programs deserve confidence that these resources are used lawfully and for their intended purpose,” HHS Deputy Secretary Jim O’Neill said in a statement.

The administration has not laid out details about the fraud allegations.

    Bolded the important part.

I hate that we’re living in a country where policy is being made based on social media content that has been artificially amplified and is easily proven to be false, but here we are.

The upside is that Republicans are going to get destroyed in the mid-terms, but by then, so much damage will already have been done, and much of what’s been done will have the effect of a legislative time bomb, scheduled for the worst bits to kick in after the elections. (Primarily with the BBB) We’ll also see a serious loss of economic liberty when the post-tariff trade agreements start to kick in.

And unless Dems sack up and remove Jeffries and Schumer as their leaders, there won’t be any meaningful changes or improvements.

    Strap in, folks.

i wonder if shtf thinking is realistic thinking since we’re already there and most are unaware of it.

instead it’s probably better to say once shit piles up enough since it happened so gradually over the decades it’s difficult to see it happening.

I live in Louisiana, bro. This whole state is one big shit pile and I’m leaving as soon as physically possible.

It’s just good to have an obvious destination.
