One of my favorite limericks:
Little Johnny was a scientist
Little Johnny is no more
For what he thought was H2O
Was H2SO4Two chemists go out to eat together. The waitress asks them what they would like to drink. The first chemist cheekily responds that they would like some H2O. The second chemist thinks this is a great idea and orders an H2O too. The second chemist dies.
Always liked that one, too.
I once went to a restaurant with a friend. My friend ordered a root beer, then the waitress turned to me and asked what I would like. I said “I’ll have a root beer, also.” The waitress nodded, wrote that down, and walked away.
It soon became clear that something had gone awry; our sodas didn’t come and the waitress could be seen walking around the back of the restaurant asking other staff something. Finally, the waitress sent out the (very pregnant, I felt bad that she had to walk out) bartender to tell me that she was sorry, but she’d never heard of a “root beer alto” and so wasn’t sure how to make it.
I always found that a bit embarrassing. I tend to use “also” instead of “too” because I find it less ambiguous and also because I have pedantic friends who, if I had said “I’ll have a root beer, too” would say things like “root beer 1 not good enough for you?” My intent was to be more clear, not less! That’s the only time it’s backfired for me, though.

It’s a good poem, but not a limerick. Limericks have 5 stanzas in AABBA format.

There’s a difference between allow by default and deny by default. One of them is necessary for a healthy society while acknowledging that you need to keep certain groups away from you. The other is culty.

It is not flammable. At higher concentrations, it can explode, especially when in contact with organic matter. But it is not flammable.
I think the joke is that it does exist and it’s very different from H₂O.

It should be H₂O 2 as in “Water 2”. You wrote “2 hydrogen atoms and 2 oxygen atoms”, which is hydrogen peroxide.
