I know how to reverse that ‘irreversible’ price spike…

That’s more of a global than UK problem.

One way to help that process would include internalizing the external costs of plastic.

It already is. The headline is missing “desktop”.

I’ll be damned if that is no prime number of cars sold!
You misspelled misspell 🤪
If all became heat upon striking a surface that would make lighting anything pretty impossible and most would be dark.

Iron redox flow batteries are inherently safer than vanadium redox flow batteries.
All types of redox flow batteries - in difference to lithium ion batteries of the NMC (nickel manganese cobalt) type - can’t have thermal runaway; lithium iron phosphate batteries, which are typically used for grid/home storage are safe from thermal runaway as well.

And Rust is both secure and efficient, am I right?

For grid-storage they may very well be…
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_redox_flow_battery
is e.g. in place in Sacramaneto, CA with a storage of 2 GWh and a maximum power of 200 MW.
For grid-storage durability and ovrerall cost efficiency are more important than energy density so I expect redox flow batteries to overtake lithium ion based batteries there.

They seem to have tackled the issue of dendrite forming.
That would reduce maintenance on iron redox flow batteries sigificantly if true.

I wholeheartedly agree!
I installed Bazzite because I wanted an easy solution for my laptop with Nvidia GPU - now it’s my daily driver and gaming is only a fraction of its job.
Wouldn’t an AMD RX 9060 XT with 16 GB RAM be nice as well if you’re hunting for good speed/cost options?

10a is supported, but flagged experimental:

How much is that in football fields?

Kudos!
Have fun 😊

My Pixel 7a with GrapheneOS says ‘Hi!’ 🤗

I love it!
Installation their costom ROM was the easiest I ever did.
I can’t imagine going back to any other Android variant.
Aside from 2 apps I tried everything works fine including banking apps, which is to say: all I really want to use works.
If you’re especially worried about banking apps, you can have a look here about their expected compatibility: https://privsec.dev/posts/android/banking-applications-compatibility-with-grapheneos/
Short of my future Jolla phone with SailfishOS blowing my Pixel with GrapheneOS out of the water (unlikely to happen), I’m stuck with GrapheneOS for the foreseeable future.
My next daily driver might be from Motorola though, if they do their business with GrapheneOS the right way.
I beg to differ. I’m fairly sure I’ve heard about meltdown on modern CPUs.
Are you really sure they aren’t snowflakes?
The sea doesn’t bill by the hour.
