Storming prisons is a fine French tradition.
GrapheneOS was collaborating with some phone manufacturer for a while, looks like it didn’t work out but they’re trying different options.
Bots that repost comments definitely are a thing on Reddit, there evenwads a counter-bot (/u/replyguyboy) that exposed them.
I installed it the way the guide on GrapheneOS site explained.
Same but on Pixel 6. Though I caved in and installed the sandboxed Google Play to run bank apps, fortunately they do work that way without problems.
I’ve been copying the wikis and important post of some subreddits I used to visit, now I’m sad I didn’t copy more.
I don’t care much for Orange Site, but what marcan (of Asahi Linux) wrote recently seems to agree with your experience:
I do think the speculation about what insidious hacks he used for the red text on Asahi Linux blog that showed up only for HN submitters was pretty hilarious.

Thanks, but when I tried spamming “search” it doesn’t seem to work, while spamming “next” eventually hangs the whole thing. Could be a problem on my side, my instance is running Lemmy 0.16.7.
I can’t figure out how to sub from szmer.info, I tried typing the whole URL to https://lemmyrs.org/c/rustlang in the search bar, and nothing is found.
From what I understand this is meant to prevent boosting toots into fash instances, but this is also prevented by setting authorized_fetch
in Mastodon.
The link issue indeed sucks, but can’t you just search the name throught “Communities -> Search”? “Lemmy” is somewhat unfortunate as typing that into search returns all communities from lemmy.ml, but the link is there.
