The SAS 15 Pin Power Port on the cables gets their power from the LSI card?

Cool, I will give it a try. I may install it to my linux machine and access over samba. I need to test if game installs will work over network like this first
Sure, I would love too. Do you know what software to run in Windows to provide good results? I can temporarily attach it to my linux machine if necessary
Thank you for the much needed help. I have been clueless and trying to find a decent inexpensive solution.
QA: Q “was there a reason you chose the 9311?” A: no, only that it looked nice.
The 9300-8i is 1/4 the price so I will go with it.
I took a gamble on a cheap used drive purchase at $500 for local game installs. The drive arrives in 2 days. I couldn’t find out what connection type the drive had or power delivery needs
Here are the products I have selected based on your recommendation. Do these look like good choices?
I just installed NixOS on my laptop. It is very foreign to me coming Debian then Arch. Everyone is saying NixOS is worth it so I am going to give it a solid run. I would suggest NixOS if you have time to learn and Arch if you want more familiarity

2 monitors 144hz, 1 TV 120hz.
Nothing on any monitor can render at higher than 120hz
Play movie on any one screen, other screens can’t render anything at higher than 24fps
Wayland works fine
Wayland if you have more that one monitor. X11 can support multiple monitors but it is a disaster.
Rustdesk doesn’t work on Wayland and that is a real bummer

It’s almost always cloudflare. Fucking cunts won’t ever allow my browser to any site using their “services”. Then there is Hcaptcha, “Solve my puzzles till the end of time in a fucking loop, and no, you’re never getting into the site”. I hate them
