You overestimate the technical competence and attention span of the current generation of kids - they barely know how to use a mouse.
IMO if any kid these days manages to do enough work to figure out how to do anything on Linux, they’re probably well ahead of the pack and deserve to play their game as a reward 😅
Nice work, you did a good thing 😊
Perhaps deleting messages on Lemmy doesn’t work how you think?

Oh cool, thanks for the explanation! I guess super glue in the charge port or something would work for a Tesla
…shoes? I must be missing something
Why are you so rude to this person? You know other countries exist outside of North America and folks from anywhere in the world should be welcome on Lemmy even if they don’t know anything about US politics or whatever?
Sadly you’ve been replied to by a bunch of folks who rudely assume a very USA-centric view of the world.
This post is talking about USA politics, where the leader of the country is currently a piece of shit criminal who is allowing billionaires (eg Elon Musk) to do whatever they want and dismantle long established government institutions, under the lie that it’s in the best interests of the country.
I’m honestly glad you haven’t heard about it, you must have done a better job than me of filtering out US news and rhetoric!
That’s wild, thanks for sharing
I guess they learned it from porn
You incorrectly assume the grift products have to actually do anything. Just give them a few lights and a little fan at the back which spins for a few minutes to make it sound like it’s doing anything. Can be super cheap to make, it doesn’t even need a heating element!
Char count for same functionality is still at least double in java vs python. It just feels like a chore to me. jetbrains helped, but still python is just so light
Women are art with a few years of being in the world of life and the rest of us have had to get in touch with them
Fair point! I think that’s part of why I admire him, humble greatness
Eh, bagder is more than “just some guy” to a lot of people! To me he’s kinda been my tech idol for 20 years lol, he also was a core part of building Rockbox (open source firmware for MP3 players) which was the first open source project I got seriously involved in as a kid ☺️
I appreciate your mature response to feedback - I don’t personally have a strong interest in this but generally like to support open source competitors to commercial monopolies; if you have any way to donate money to you please share and I’ll send a few bucks
