For those not in cybersecurity, a ‘local’ attack means someone already has access to the host, meaning via remote access or sitting at the keyboard. This isn’t a one and done exploit. Basic cybersecurity awareness is incredibly effective here.

I’m currently playing The Forever Winter… and it is BRUTALLY difficult. Gorgeous game and worldbuilding though. It’s in Alpha so things are very much in flux but I just can’t seem to put this dystopian nightmare down.

You can run Heroic Launcher on Linux and it ties into GoG, didn’t know if you knew. (I run Linux too! There’s dozens of us xD)

I like Steam, but they are catering to a certain audience that doesn’t care as much about game preservation. Now that GoG is doing the opposite… it is the optimal place to buy those old games you want to keep forever. Seems simple to me. It’s healthy to have two different markets anyway.
