Does Heroic support cloud saves like Steam and GoG Galaxy? I have a laptop that I use on trips and don’t really want to have to start over or figure out where they have their saves.

The way things are you can’t get your cloud saves unless you bother their support. I have switched from Windows 10 to Linux as 10 was my last OS. I don’t support the way that Microsoft has forced AI onto their devices and security issues with the co-pilot. Wanting gaming to work just as well on Linux as it does on Windows doesn’t sound hard yet it is missing quite a few things that Windows did. Such as being able to have any store run or being able to have mods work without having to run the command line just to install a tool that then doesn’t work just because I installed the game using a different app store and isn’t explained anywhere. Like why does snap install steam in a completely different place than flatpack or yar or discovery. It has been a headache just to get to where I can find a mod then download a mod and have a mod manager know where to look to install the mod into the game and be able to play it. How the hell am I suppose to recommend using a Linux disto to others that want to leave Microsoft behind if things are like pulling teeth just to get the same functionality as the OS that they just left? Sorry for the rant it just sucks trying to switch as a gamer that likes to mod their games.

Still better than gog as they don’t support any Linux pcs. All my saves are gone thanks gog.

Hogwarts legacy, which is a exe, runs on proton but not on windows 10. I’d say proton runs better than windows.

The funny thing is that the law states “a foreign adversary controlled application” is what is getting banned, e.i. all Chinese apps are being banned. It doesn’t state that it is a TikTok ban. All apps owned by a foreign adversary say all Russian apps or all Iran apps would also be banned under this law. The people that are upset are only looking at one app, it is all of owned not by a US company that are in danger.

I’ll switch when 10 finally dies, they state Oct 2025 but if even less people go to 11 they won’t really have a choice but to keep 10 up and running. Make 10 the last Windows OS ever. Never go to 11.

Liberal is the opposite of authoritarianism. Left politicies are less capitalism and more socialism. What America calls Liberal is more authoritative than what should be considered central party. Here’s what I see: she said you are stalking her and being creepy, you explain why it’s not. In her head you ignored it, so she got her friend involved to tell you the same thing, you ignored it again. Now she panics because two people have told you the same thing and you have ignored both people. From her perspective you are a danger, regardless if you are or not, which is why she denied sending her friend to text you. It is something to remember for the future, if two people say the same thing it should be looked into as it could be true. I have lived with Autistic people that have trouble with social cues, so I have some idea of what went wrong.

So make a lot of it and freeze the stuff you ain’t eating currently.
