For almost 2 years, people have been violently kidnapped from the streets, thanks to this totally non-gangster state, after they loosened the laws (which Zelensky signed, BTW). For example, here (violence warning!) is a yesterday video from Odessa. And we get video like this every day. It’s like ICE in US, but much worse because people can’t protest against it due to ongoing war.

And recently we had a ton of corruption scandals tied to Zelensky’s inner circle. You can just scroll below, someone already linked.

Their operations become somewhat declassified after X years (I don’t remember the exact number, but there is law for it). You can see many of their documents on the CIA website. For example, the Aerodynamic operation.

I think what the commenter above is trying to say is that they are getting tired of seeing Lemmy users pointing fingers at each other. Most of us are clearly passionate about FOSS and hate capitalism. Otherwise, why would we have joined Lemmy?

All these “tankies” and “libs” have lost all meaning. Many times, I’ve seen people simply make up shit from both sides about what libs/tankies think, and then just make fun of it. It’s not productive.

Achievements could be helpful if done right. They may help people discover interesting things about a game. I personally love RetroAchievements. It’s a FOSS project driven by the community to add achievements to old games.

That’s not the case with Reddit, of course 😅 They do it to increase engagement because it correlates with profit.

But Mastodon is from F-Droid and it uses Google notification service, I just checked.

I have microG installed, and both apps show up as registered for cloud messaging.

BTW, if you aren’t on Nvidia, you can remove ENABLE_HDR_WSI=1. It’s for https://github.com/Zamundaaa/VK_hdr_layer which is not needed if you have recent Mesa drivers.

As for Firefox, a new profile was the first thing I tried, but I always get the same result… What did you change in the new profile to make it work?

I just managed to get Cyberpunk with HDR working. I downloaded Protonup-Qt, installed GE-Proton10-25, selected it in Steam and added PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 PROTON_ENABLE_HDR=1 ENABLE_HDR_WSI=1

Ah, got it! Yes, HDR works fine for me in MPV. Maybe I should install an extension to open videos in it 🤔

I’m also on Plasma 6.5 and I set HDR to enabled… So you didn’t enable the toggle in about:config? In my case it shows the video on SDR.

Yes, being able to work on it full time would be a dream! Right now, I work on it in my free time after my full-time job, but I want to write an MVP first before considering any fundraising.

Right now I considering using a mesh with morphs just to provide a proper API for character customization. I don’t expect this particular part to be that hard. The mentioned MakeHuman is FOSS, so I could use it as a reference.

I also don’t think it will be incredibly generic. It’ll be focused on life simulation, so it wouldn’t be a good choice for something like an RPG. This lets me scale the project down even further — and a narrower API will be simpler as well.
