I’m all here for that succubussy.
Judging by she telling you this story I’d say it went quite okay.
A, yes, quick sand, the bane of my childhood.
I had about 6 complete playthroughs and played ever race/origin prologue combo. Even made game the main topic back when I was in college and had a game design course. It was something completely new for it’s time. Sadly I think it aged quite badly if you look at some mechanics, animations and even partly graphics. At least that’s what came to my mind when I replayed Mass Effect 1 when the remaster launched. In my memory it was a better game.
DA:O is still one of my favourite RPGs. I didn’t like the two successors that much but the overarching story is quite intriguing to me. Sadly there has been a lot of staff shuffling regarding DA4. That’s usually not a very good sign. I appreciate the lack of EA exclusivity and Denuvo but I’ll still wait until some reviews are out. Remember kids: no preorders.
So why exactly are they putting Israel in quotes?
How people like this are in politics and the media is reporting about them is beyond me.
Straight to the loony bin.
I liked Varic in 2 but that’s about it. The asset recycling was absolutely mad.
Hello, fellow simpleton.
I made a gradual switch from windows to Arch starting in may. At first I had some issues but since nvidia 555.x drivers launched everything just works. Gsync/VRR? No issues. HDR? No issues. Three monitors, some rotated, with different refresh rates one of them ultra wide? No issues at all. It’s amazing.
Made the full switch about 1,5 months back and deleted all windows partitions two weeks ago. Works for gaming, work and casual browsing without flaw and I’m glad I made the switch.
Tried Tabasco once. First a good time, then not so much.
That’s it. Broke my installation when I reverted to a snapshot that had a different kernel installed. Could fix it with arch-chroot and learned a thing or two how btrfs subvolumes work.
Ofc I can only go by this short description but I’d do it. In my former job I ended up with depression and it took me 1,5 years for recover. I didn’t want to do 1st / 2nd lvl support any more but found a place in another city that I liked and it had the opportunity to opt-out of the support work or keep it to a minimum, once you’re skilled enough to do other work.
Now work doesn’t get less but instead more, colleagues are - on a social level - find and I even made some friends, but they’re so hard to work with. I just came back from a week off because I was sick and after 10 minutes reading my emails and teams chat I’d rather turn the computer back off and go back to bed.
I don’t hat the tech. Hell, I even tinker with it in my free time, made the switch from windows to Linux even though I’m a gamer. I got pihole and home assistant running and I’m planning on a home server / NAS for Jellyfin and other stuff. I like this things… but people man… they drive me literally crazy.
But since I can’t do anything else and I need the money to pay rent and buy food I can’t just start another, badly payed, apprenticeship. I’m feeling stuck in a job that I despise because of the people in and around it. So if you have the change go get away from it and use the computer stuff as a nice hobby, do it.
The hint that we have way to few guillotines at hand.
So I noticed two seams… can you load the wiener both ways? That’d be some kind of celebration.
Blåhaj is love, blåhaj is life. cuddles his blåhaj
Fair enough. The wording wasn’t correct.
Aka “Gablerus Staplerus” or “Forky Lifty”
