Which bank do you have? Is switching to a credit union an option?
I switched to a credit union and can use all the same ATMs/send money/etc and there’s no fees/no anti-consumer nonsense

Goddamn is it expensive to be poor
Librewolf is cancer for regular use
From what I understand, xorg has fundamental security flaws. How will they remedy this?
They won’t. Don’t download random shit and if you’re worried, run it in Flatpak
What happens when the Linux kernel drops support for xorg? Do they intend to fork an older version of the kernel in order to keep support?
Not really possible, since X11 is only built on top of the kernel’s graphical interface (same as Wayland). Even if that wasn’t the case, the kernel doesn’t delete any code that anybody uses (that’s why 30 year old programs still run)
The first comment on the request
For the sake of all of our sanity, I’d really appreciate if FESCo could decide on this one really quickly (e.g. putting out a statement) and avoid what could be a most unpleasant flame-fest on this mailing list.
I’m old enough to remember when this was about NK
I’d never share this with anyone I don’t know because my name is on it, anything anyone does will come back to me.
I’m the opposite. I keep no password on my wifi so I have plausible deniability
Someone put in the effort to make thiz
It depends where you are and what you’re renewing. Lots of these things (photos/fingerprints/etc) may be optional. Research beforehand, talk with the staff, express your concerns, be polite, and see which parts you can opt out.
GDScript is heavily inspired by Python’s syntax, but has a few differences with typing and string formatting. This code is Python but tbh would probably run on Godot

ChatGPT used to actually do this. But they removed that feature for whatever reason. Now the server that the LLM runs on doesn’t isn’t provide the LLM a Python terminal, so the LLM can’t query it
You didn’t get good answers so I’ll explain.
First, an LLM can easily write a program to calculate the number of r
s. If you ask an LLM to do this, you will get the code back.
But the website ChatGPT.com has no way of executing this code, even if it was generated.
The second explanation is how LLMs work. They work on the word (technically token, but think word) level. They don’t see letters. The AI behind it literally can only see words. The way it generates output is it starts typing words, and then guesses what word is most likely to come next. So it literally does not know how many r
s are in strawberry. The impressive part is how good this “guessing what word comes next” is at answering more complex questions.
“wow how inhumane!”
(Goes back to putting on skin cream, taking medicine and eating food)
Can you translate that to English
“My wealth is in stocks”
C) good social activity
It’s like the inverse of running. Running feels like trash in the moment, but great after
