Is there a reason these outages seem to have increased recently?

I wholeheartedly agree. It does sound dangerously similar. Ultimately, the main difference would be that I don’t want to hurt people(also to be frank it’s straight up impossible and imaginary to change people like this. lol). I just want them to be compassionate. I think ultimately, they need empathy. Maybe if i phrased it that way, it would sound less messed up. But yeah, they need to have empathy and a guilty conscience. If we could make everyone have that, it would be a much better place to live.
Governments don’t seem to want to do enough about them. They’re willing to let millions of people die because of billionaires. It just seems absurdly cruel and we just have to kind of sit and watch or get trampled on too.

They seem to not understand what made the good games good, and then when a game does do well, they try to milk it. The yearly releases are likely too much as well.
Black ops 3 was cool -> ruined with predatory micro transactions. anyone remember how they would pair you with people who had the items you were viewing in the loot box menu in an attempt to get you to purchase? And then the odds were stupidly low to actually get the items.
The modern warfare reboot was cool. But again they slowly ruined it entry after entry.
Black ops was kinda neat last year. Then they tried to milk it again.
Idk I’m kinda rambling here but if you’ve played most of the titles I think it makes sense as to why people aren’t always getting every one at this point

I wish we could find out what part of these ceo’s brains are physically broken and fix it by force. There’s the whole Grey area of like is this ethical but if we could determine this defect without any error I think it would be a breakthrough similar to curing cancer.

So then it sounds like somebody just needs to provide a font for applications that is a low priced one time payment and they would do pretty well. I wonder how difficult it is

Odd move. You already can’t trust ai results. mixing in ads is going to make it even worse. It’s going to try to manipulate people

Hmm so I would say go with the switch 2 mainly because you mentioned money isn’t an issue. It’s going to be purely peace of mind as you’re not going to need to do any major troubleshooting later.
Alternatively just go with the steam deck and let her use it normally and (I assume as I’ve never owned a steam deck) it should just be plug and play the same as a switch.
Coming from experience, if it was me and my mom in the same situation, I would go with the switch 2 because I know there would be less stress involved overall. I normally do the tech help requests for my parents’ pc’s and phones, and it always surprises me how they can sometimes manage to break things or get themselves into a pickle.

And the money trickles up to those highest on the pyramid. Classic

I didn’t know this, thanks for sharing!
If you’re triggered easily, I’m not sure if the game is a good fit for you as it does delve into some deeper, more serious topics.
The only other thing I could think of to try and resolve this issue would be to purposely spoil the plot of the game for yourself by reading summaries in advance and then make the judgement call on whether or not you believe you can handle the subject matter?

If we can push towards green electricity generation, I would be up for an electric car. Where I live our electricity isn’t green so it feels kind of…counter intuitive in a sense.
My main gripe with any new vehicle is touch screens. If there’s a touch screen in the thing ima flip a table. Give me physical buttons please. Oh I guess my secondary gripe is trying to make cars compact in ways that make it impossible difficult to work on yourself.
I want smaller cars, but I also want something that people can work on easily.

Why would that hurt the economy? If you want people to spend money, make things affordable and useful. They make things shittier and more expensive and then wonder why people aren’t buying

I’m going to be a pest and argue semantics.
For point number 2. Musk has never been an American, and i would argue that he has no true country as he only cares about himself. From what I understand, he created his business illegally after losing his visa status in the US for some time.

I just want access to my whole Xbox library on my PC. There’s a small amount of overlap, but not much.

Explains why windows has been such garbage. Remember when windows 10 was advertised as the last windows? Lol
I did really like Obra Dinn! I thought I might not due to the theme of the game and the color pallette but those worries were gone after playing it. It was a lot of fun piecing the story together. I played both Obra Dinn and Blue Prince with my spouse and I think it made it more enjoyable for me because I tend to hyper focus in on like random details or I’ll look at the big picture and forget other little things, so it was fun to play and experience them together.
I enjoyed Blue Prince but the repeating structure of the game started to wear a bit thin as you progressed. I kinda wish there was a toggle to ensure quicker completion once a person completed the main objective. I didn’t bother to go and finish the extra bits n bobs because I felt like it was just too much busy work at that point.
Out of this list I’ve played (in order)
Fez
Outer Wilds
Return of the obra dinn
Blue prince
Outer Wilds was my favorite of the bunch. I didn’t know anything about it and went in blind. It’s gotta be in my top 5 favorite games, if not number 1.
Subnautica felt similar due to the exploration element. I wish there were more games like this.

I feel like we’re probably screwed either way at this point. Everything seems to just be getting more expensive with no end in sight. Maybe it’s me being bitter, but I would at least like to see the billionaires money burn a little lol. Unfortunately, no matter what happens they’ll be ok, and everyone else suffers regardless, so idk.
I would wait for a sale and then put that money into indie titles you are interested in
