Yup exactly. They stop crimes of opportunity

I have been enjoying these multiplayer games. They’re pretty silly. Also, I really appreciate that these indie titles have a much lower price point.
Only problem is I don’t have time to enjoy them all. Too many games, too many work hours. It’s like the iron triangle where you gotta pick two but you can’t have all 3

I love this guy. His videos have shown me to never trust locks

I’m really hoping all my existing purchases can be played via PC one day. If “everything” is indeed becoming an xbox, then I’m hoping this becomes a reality. I’m disappointed they’re moving away from their traditional consoles, though. It feels like the end of something special.

My personal guess was to get people “used” to AI video. If you slap a smear over everything, it makes it look similar
Alternatively, it could have been an attempt to clean up video to make it look better. However, the implementation and where I’ve seen it seems to make little sense. It generally makes everything look worse, so I have no clue.

Whenever these massive tech companies started laying people off during 2020 was when I went “well shit”. I was only a year into my job and struggled to find something even somewhat relevant at that point prior to covid. I thankfully still have that job for now but I don’t know what’s next
Tech workers have become a dime a dozen now it seems. Heck all workers seem to have. Now with the whole AI thing I’m trying to think of what I can pivot to.
Tech is ruined for me personally. I don’t want to touch AI. I’ve been considering some kind of business i can start myself or like…I don’t know really. I’m just burnt out and don’t know what the future will look like. There’s so much uncertainty

Oooh I feel like that might be a bad idea for valve, but might be good for everyone else. I don’t personally play, but I would assume some of their player base is invested in the gambling. If they feel discouraged, it might be enough for them to stop.

It always surprises me when I read about people getting hired with no experience. That seems unheard of today. You need the perfect combination of educated enough, but not too much, and maybe giving up your firstborn child to secure a job, lol.

I feel like the internet should probably be hosted in as many different servers and physical locations as possible. It seems alarming that these things happen as often as they do

Lol that could be the newest horror movie for Halloween. “Education on Elm Street”.

I think that’s the scariest part. The idea that people will stop learning.

I’ve heard of it and seen that people enjoy it, but outside of that, I don’t really know much about the game. I’ll have to maybe give it a try one day. I do really appreciate when games have a carefully crafted gameplay systems

Bf3 definitely had a buggy launch but was fixed decently quick if I recall correctly? Faster than bf4 was

Hmm insane depressed failure you say? Maybe he’s closer to me than I thought lol!
In that case maybe I just need to lean into him being a much more defined stereotype like being dumb and strong or something haha
Thank you for letting me know, that’s good to keep in mind

I feel like I’ll need to try it again sometime. I found it annoying that I couldn’t seem to self insert lol. Might have been how my character was set up.

Hmm I think most rogue likes. But that’s probably a me issue. I just don’t enjoy having to restart and play the same gameplay loop again. Hades was the closest one that I seemed to enjoy more as I liked the story bits between each run. I recently started cult of the lamb and I enjoy the base building so that might help too.
It’s interesting that you mention DS3. I quite enjoyed my time with it(once I got my bearings. I had to restart a number of times) but I’m super curious if I would enjoy it as much if I went back and played DS1 again to compare.
I can completely understand the environment complaint. I really liked sekiro for all the varied environments and themes.

I find it reassuring that Wikipedia is doing it’s best to try and maintain truth and accountability. I agree they should be hosted in a different place.
Side thought/my own ramblings here: Has there ever been hosting where the information is scattered across the world rather than one localized spot? That seems like it might be helpful, but I honestly don’t know enough about site hosting

This kind of tech is going to mislead people into wars. It’s going to ruin digital information
Lol I’ve often heard the other movies weren’t as good but I’ve only seen the first. Are they that bad?
