  • Does your actual compensation take care of what you need for all of your current goals and needs — from day one?

I’ve never had this. Where does one find a job like that today lol. I want to say the majority of people actively do not have this unless they are in a situation where they have been able to live more frugally. Inflation and greedflation have made any pay increases I’ve received in the past decade basically non existent.

That being said I’m basically supporting a family of 4 on a salary of 1.5 people.

  • I think the key part is the copy part at the end there.

For example: a bunch of 3DS games are dying due to age. So physical media can br lost just like digital.

If im recalling correctly, it’s due to the quality of cartridges and how the games were stored on the carts(?). In which case getting a copy online is your next best bet. I feel like this whole rental system is the same deal. If they remove the ability to access the products you paid for, then you’re perfectly fine to go grab a copy from somewhere.

The biggest reason to buy physical in my eyes is that having physical and digital versions of something acts as a failsafe for everyone when it comes to media specifically

  • LOL, people unsubscribing is working. I’m shocked it took them this long to react to this, though. The pricing is ridiculous. They would have to slash it in half or more to gain back the number of people lost. Additionally, they keep adding and removing the same games? The value proposition seems low if you have already played the existing catalog.

It seems funny to me that they put all their eggs in one basket (gamepass) and then decided to light the basket on fire and smash it with a hammer(increase the price and put the head of AI in charge of the xbox. Have radio silence on what’s next for xbox for an entire generation of your console while it’s rumored that your next console is your last).
