And don’t forget to use encrypted messenging apps like Signal.
And do your research into which apps, programs, etc have the best encryption.

Yep it’s the association for sure
But also a factor (for those that know) is that companies will pay for their ads to run to specific demographics of people based on the data that a advertising platform (Twitter, YouTube, Tinder, Facebook, etc) has gathered to determine specific things about you as a person.
It’s the whole concept behind targeted ads. You pay for eyes that will see it and are more likely to purchase your products due to that demographic data. Or at the very least, view your website for traffic that can be used to harvest more data about you so that it can be sold to other companies.
It would take quite a bit of energy to effect things on a global scale but it could cause some issues at a very local level.
Depending on price I might go for it
I did spend like $40 on a battery for a 10 year old laptop a few years ago so that I could keep using it for troubleshooting a remote network I setup up awhile ago because it’s cheaper than a new laptop.
Personally I’d see if you can find a new compatible battery not necessarily an OEM battery though as being new it’s probably going to last awhile.
I feel you on that
I miss the days of sd slots, headphone jacks, and removable batteries.
Phone cameras are pretty good now though and the Xperia has a damn good one
Hell it even had a headphone jack
Not too mention what even is the point of getting a flagship?
The cameras are great on most phones, the specs are good enough for most people’s use case (call, text, social media).
Hell the last few years the consistently best rated phone camera by users has been the Pixel A series of phones. The budget Pixel phones.
Ah yes, some good news today as well
Happy to see this community is starting off on the right foot
When that music kicks in when you start a game of We Love Katamari or Katamari Damacy
It will always bring me joy
It brings me back to a simpler time of being a kid during summer and picking the game up for the first time with a former friend.
Though that former friend is no longer here, those memories of that summer will be with me hopefully forever.
I had lost those memories (and many many others) a few years back when I had a traumatic brain injury, and last summer when my AC was broken and I caught myself humming a some I didn’t remember. And after a bit of working on the song it clicked what it was from. I listened too a few songs from it and booted it up on my old PS2. And that intro music while sitting in front of my TV on the floor, brought me to happy tears as those memories of that summer started to flood back.
That’ll give me a use for my TrueNAS server that’s for sure. It’s got 24 cores 200gb of RAM and I basically use it exclusively for a NAS.
Now I just have to look into how to set it up.
It also doesn’t work in the mobile app, I’d love to see it work there soon too
Join us over in beehaw, it’s super chill and welcoming
I’m happy about it, of course I might be a bit biased as I only came over yesterday.
This place is super nice and chill
I’m really digging Beehaw their lqbtq+ space is super welcoming
A deceptive tactic of the mighty mountain floof.
They will lure you in with their friend shape and then WAM you’re having dinner with them and not in the good way.
Yeah it took a little while to feel the mental health benefits, basically once I also fixed my sleep schedule. But the hardest part was sticking to it earlier on.
I’ve only been working out again for a couple months and I usually focus on body weight stuff and cardio. I’ve never been big on getting swoll just filled out of that makes sense.
I’ve definitely got some old injuries that like to make things tough but I just remember the physical therapy I had to do for them and add those exercises back into the mix.
I follow a lot of niche hobby and some other communities that haven’t come over yet.
A couple have started to shuffle on over but not a lot yet.
I also followed a lot (like a serious amount) of art subs that haven’t seemed to come over yet. I basically followed most of the “imaginary[insert niche here]” subs.
I feel you on the mental health getting in the way of the gym. I’ve recently started getting back into share due to improving my mental health and I’m kicking myself for not going back sooner.
I’m hoping some more niche hobby/profession communities will come over soon. If not I may have to start one and that’s a scary thought.
My main rig and my 3D printing rig are on windows 10, they would be 11 but I’d have to enable to the TPM on both to make it happen and I’m lazy.
My server is on Linux because server. It’s currently running TrueNAS Scale and I’m thinking I might spin up some other things considering it’s got 24 cores and 200 GB of ram it really should be doing more than just being a NAS.
OMG I had no idea that this came out
I played the shit out of this game as a kid and I’m about to lose a weekend to this game
Thank you so much for telling me about it, I hope you have a wonderful day
Straight up, I’m planning to wait for reviews and some patches to roll out.
I’ve been playing Bethesda games for awhile and every single 3D game made by them has had some serious issues on launch.
