Wholeheartedly agree. That was a true expansion, which are mostly gone these days. There’s a big difference between “DLC” and “Expac” imo.

BC2 was the last GREAT Battlefield game imo. I spent SO much time on that. Whereas BF3/4 took away a lot of the simplicity and balance that BC2 had.

I’ve been a PC gamer for about 12 years now, after having been a console player my entire life. I’m now at the point that I’m considering just buying a PS5 and no longer PC gaming. Reasons being that PS5 seems to have better optimized games than the shit ports these companies release for PC.

I would love a remaster of Gears 1-3 for PC. Some of my favorite games from the 360 era. I find that as I get older, games past the PS2/3 and 360 era just don’t appeal to me. There seems to have been a major shift in the philosophy of game development since that time.
