    The “microsoft rival”, as it is called in the headline, is alfaview, a company that offers GDPR compliant video conferencing software.

    And they complain that Teams gets bundled with Office by default which givea this an advantage over other (their) product.

      Microsoft’s principal argument for this case should be that Zoom is the premier video conference software and it is not bundled with Windows.

      In my experience, the meeting software usage frequency across companies is Zoom > WebEx > Teams.

      So if Alfaview wants to compete, make a better product.

      Hmm. SuSe when it comes to OS, SAP when it comes to business software. Honestly MS doesn’t have a strong position there when you compare them against SAP and Windows doesn’t even run on mainframes.

      well, if at least one company move to jitsi or matrix in fear that Teams get slashed by EU justice, I will consider it a win ^^
