    Public Service Announcement: it’s also always “free to keep” without installing the totally-not-sus EGS app. 🌊 “Free to keep” is a purely marketing term they’re doing their damnedest to normalize. Fuck that shit.

      They’ve also had server issues that caused games to be permanently removed from users’ libraries. Free to keep on a bad service isn’t reliable. Whoever clings to their EGS account for the freebies should backup (and patch if needed) the games they intend to keep. Same thing with some games bough from Ubisoft and EA apps. But don’t bother with anything purchased through a Microsoft app. That’s burnt money.

      Chill dude, all it means is that it is a) free to claim, and b) you get to keep it as in you don’t just get to trial it for a weekend which is commonly seen with “free weekends” on steam.
