It kind of makes everyone overlook all the trauma and organizational things that they DO struggle with, especially if they’re women.
I apologize. In my family the nice way to say it was always “mental illness”, and we have it by the ton, but I don’t know whether autism played a role. My grandma raised a heap of kids while also very unwell. Could be for me, but again, post traumatic stress. Also I’m not a woman, but my sister is older and has her own story.
