Tatarstan is on the opposite side of Russia, by the way. Where many ethnic minorities live, such as those that the name implies, the Tatars.

Interesting target on part of the Ukrainian miitary since it’s generally just civilians in the area.

This is precisely what the fascists in Europe want to see happening:

During a press conference held by Vladimir Zelensky and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Belgrade, Martens posed a provocative question about what European nations could do to “help kill more Russians.” In response, an online petition was launched calling for the journalist’s removal from his post.

Civilians die in wars, this isn’t what the discussion is about. The discussion here is about the fact that Ukraine is deliberately targeting civilians having transitioned firmly into territory of doing terrorism. Of course, being an artless troll that you are, you would ignore that fact.

A Ukrainian drone attack on Monday hit the Russian city of Nizhnekamsk in the Tatarstan region, more than 600 miles from the Ukrainian border, and killed at least 13 people, including a child, and wounded 75.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Maria Zakharova said that *the strike hit industrial sites *and residential buildings, and Rustam Minnikhanov, the head of the Republic of Tatarstan, said nine of the dead were killed when a drone hit a hostel.

Russian strikes also hit Ukraine, and at least 24 people were injured by a glide bomb attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia, according to The Associated Press. Russia typically responds to Ukrainian drone attacks that cause significant civilian casualties by launching major missile attacks on Ukrainian cities.

Emphasis mine text from article posted by OP

Yes it was definitely intentional to slime 9 randos in the hostel and not the 3 refineries next to it… /s

It however was entirely intentional for Russia to use the failed intercept of a Ukrainian drone targeting Russian oil export industry to justify a cruise missile targeting Ukrainian residential infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia.

        Here is a Map: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Nizhnekamsk,+Republic+of+Tatarstan,+Russia/@55.5803216,51.9203775,5968m/

TANECO Refinery: Owned by Tatneft, it features a design capacity exceeding 300,000 barrels a day (16.2 million tons per year) with high refining depth.

TAIF-NK Refinery: Nizhnekamsk’s second-largest refinery, processing over 8 million tons of crude annually into Euro-5 fuels and kerosene.

Nizhnekamskneftekhim: One of Europe’s largest petrochemical and synthetic rubber plants, closely linked to industrial supply chains.

Russia typically responds to Ukrainian drone attacks that cause significant civilian casualties by launching major missile attacks on Ukrainian cities.

So your response is to admit that Ukraine is typically doing it first, but still somehow come down on their side instead of just the rational human response of “war crimes are bad specifically because they lead to reprisals, and everyone needs to stop doing them but especially the side doing them first.”

Holy fuck do you not have any reading comprehension that is a direct quote from the in my opinion heavily biased article posted by OP. I guess expecting basic comprehension was a leap too far.

war crimes are bad specifically because they lead to reprisals, and everyone needs to stop doing them but especially the side doing them first

Something tells me you do not believe that statement

Why was a civilian building targeted deliberately?

Two wrongs don’t make a right and all that… but this is the classic holding one to a higher standard IF this was accidental. There sure as fuck is a lot of anti Ukraine stuff in the past couple of weeks popping up in my feed and I’m starting to get suspicious of it.

Yes, the sad reality is if you are being continually attacked by a neighboring country and are sending thousands of munitions into their country to try and make them stop, some innocent people will get killed

Russia purposely kills civilians. Ukraine seems to be trying to avoid killing civilians. Russia keeps attacking. They can stop attacking and make all this stop.
