I’m 40 and I still write out and cross out all the units that shit does not stop being useful.
Once and a while people will be like, you don’t need to do all that but when they want me to find the error in their spreadsheet that ends up being a conversion error they see the value lol.
Yep! My high school chemistry teacher taught me a trick for it and it’s such a useful tool. Add in my college physics class teaching us the format of “list what you know, then list what you need, then list the formulas to convert what you know into what you need and then keep looking for the values you’re missing”. Those two tricks are stuff I still use in my career
