I kinda wanna say Batman. He is just cycling through his trauma by using his wealth to beat up a lot of mentally ill people in Gotham.
I’d say he’s the worst because he could use his wealth for social programs and improve the quality of life for eveyone in Gotham. Instead he just beats up bad guys (and refuses to kill known serial murders that get out of jail and murder more every so often). He doesn’t want to solve the problem. He wants to use his wealth to live out his fantasy.
Don’t give me that BS about killing is the one thing Batman won’t do because blah blah blah…he doesn’t mind breaking all the other laws when different actions would be better for people, but he doesn’t want to kill someone that will murder again. Don’t half ass your ‘I’m above the law shit’ either you can go beat up people and administer the judgement you see fit, or don’t go beating up criminals.
You can’t eat your cake and have it too.
I don’t disagree, but it does vary a lot depending on the incarnation.
Some of his incarnations do try to improve things and are altruistic with their money.
Others are grimdark jerks.
Batman CAN be a proper good guy, he just often isn’t.
Bruce Wayne can help Gotham alot more than Batman can
