Mostly not, since I learned to just be silent. But if I’m pushed, yes, thst happens.
Constantly. Sometimes it’s a complete lie for no reason other than to fill the dead air and I correct myself immediately
I don’t believe anyone says what they are about to say in their head as words then repeats it out loud every time they talk, nothing in science says that’s how language works. Speaking is just a normal part of being a human there’s no need to plan your conversation word by word. Reflecting on something before you speak sure but the actual speaking part is meant to be fluid and intuitive.
AuDHD and yes
Yes and no. I do think about what i say or what subjects to talk about, but at the same time once the actual talking starts. Theres no plan or actual thinking, it’s more like subconscious and intuitive, yes sometimes i am surprised as well what comes out. Though most of the face to face talking is limited to just information exchange.
But I’ve found a patchwork fix for it, sort of. There are safe subjects and talking patterns to use with each individual. This way i can limit the random outcome of what i say and what those words do to a predictable range.
yes, I guess I am so excited to share the normal filter does not get applied, I do it sometimes here too, like in text which is just great. then I get embarrassed because I took someone the wrong way and probably told them to fuck off or something. I should know most of the people here are good people I am just so so tired of being trolled when talking about my feelings that logic is gone. so yea
and I am sorryMy mom in the 60’s had an ashtray (she didn’t smoke) that read “Make sure brain is engaged before putting mouth into gear”.
Tried to follow it but I failed miserably.
It’s quite a rollercoaster tbf
