Had the population voted in all or even most of the elections they’ve needed to, including primaries, at somewhere like 75-80%, the country would be a lot different now to what it is. They don’t participate, it’s bred complacency, that’s been exploited by conservatives who do participate over a long period of time and here they are. Of course, there’s more to it, but had people turned out to especially midterms around Obamas time things would be much different now to what they are. At the very least, Israel would be on a leash.
