That’s the longest whinge I’ve seen about this, thus far.

The problem with all of it is that Republican voters have proven all this whiny shit wrong by voting religiously.

Funny how they achieve it with low numbers, yet there’s a million excuses, including division which you highlight here again with your shit about LiB3RaLs, for the left not being able to achieve it.

Great story but it’s another long winded whine. Get out and vote. Every time.

If you get another shot that is. If not, it’s peaceful shutdown but start fucking doing the right thing. Prove Churchill wrong.

Until then you’re just a pack of whingers. Don’t expect the world to understand, you’re here because you couldn’t get off your arse and vote. Magical excuses around it doesn’t change it and your conservatives getting repeated results over a long time disproves any of this whinging.

Yeah, so you’re still wrong. The right wingers aren’t winning because they vote. They’re winning because the country was created for them to win. It’s the default state of the country. The right wingers don’t have nearly as much to do to win as the left does because the country is structureally organized for their policies to win. Again, 70% of the country is represented by 30% of the Senate. That means 70% of the Senate is voted in by only 30% of the country. You can’t fix that by voting. You’d have to empty out the major cities and distribute Democrat voters into every sparsely populated state of the Union and then you’d have to survive the gerrymandering. It’s literally impossible to achieve. The Senate was built to explicitly to be run by the minority of the country. It always has been, it always will be.

You think you can vote that away? Move to South Dakota.

Which only proves my point; those in the more populated areas who refuse to vote are letting their people down.

The fact remains, hardly better than 65% turn out at any time. Everywhere, Republicans compete not just because of the rural thing but because those in the larger areas don’t turn out.

It’s voting. Not only that, there’s a shitload of excuses for it that aren’t offered to other countries. We really are expected to show an understanding not afforded to other nations. Especially now the politics is being exported to us, people who aren’t involved in US elections.

It doesn’t prove your point at all. You have no idea what you’re talking about. If there was perfect voter turnout in all states, the Senate would still be overwhelmingly right wing. But we’ll never get perfect turnout because our politicians are all actively working to repress turnout. 21 million people in the US don’t have government issued photo IDs, and more than half of states require them to vote. Of all income brackets, almost half of the people making less than $20k/yr don’t vote, which says a lot about voting accessibility, transportation, education, and actual freedom to go to the polls instead of the various obligations we put on the poor.

Voting day is not a holiday in the US. Around the world, Sunday is the most common voting day. For the US it’s a Tuesday. People are forced to choose between stepping out of work and voting, and let me tell you in a country created by right wingers who understand how to maintain power if you think a right wing boss isn’t deliberately making it difficult for their black and brown people employees to vote, including docking pay and terminating them, then you don’t know what’s going on.

Only 7% of eligible voters say no candidate represents their views. Only 15% of eligible voters say they don’t vote because they don’t think it’ll matter.

I know you want to want to feel morally superior and berate people but the reality is that you are wrong

you have no idea what you’re talking about

The sum of your argument, because it’s easy, it’s lazy and it hurts, I know

f there was near perfect turnout

You’d have vastly different governments than you have now and you’re a liar if you say otherwise. Jesus, you’ve got evidence in front of you for that one

21 million people don’t have IDs

And not all of them are prevented from that

            which says a lot about…

It might, it’d also suggest a fair few aren’t willing

voting day is not a holiday in the US

And if US workers aren’t either building this on when they take the job, ignoring it, doing postal or absentee or finding a work around that’s on them; I would be. But you vote, if you can.

only 15% don’t vote by choice

That’s enough to bring the total vote to 80% or better. Thats a decent number. That’s genuinely enough.

            I know you want

No, you know jack shit, your go to for me. I want the US and its people to thrive and rebuild their country, because a strong, morally standing US is good for the world. That I tell the truth about their issue and hold a mirror up doesn’t make me feel good, in fact I hate it.

Your ignorance makes you think I’m a liar. The evidence overwhelmingly demonstrates that a) popular opinion has ZERO effect on legislation passing and b) gerrymandering is more powerful than voting and always has been.

I want the US and its people to thrive and rebuild their country

Then you’re a fool. The US is a white supremacist, misogynist, mass murdering, global force of destruction. It’s the inheritor of the white supremacist ChristoFascist European empire that created your country through genocide and mass rape and torture. WHether the US thrives or not, it’s still a demon.

Lmao. You think a broken United States is good for the current world and you’re calling me a fool?

                It’s the inheritor….

Here we go, fuckin fart sniffing. Are you going to run when it goes down? Who the fuck would want you around?

That if you get out and vote in primaries and elections, you’ll get the people you want in.

Again, this literally hasn’t mattered for the entirety of the history of the USA. I don’t want to the country to be a mass murdering super villain. I vote for anti-war people. What happens? The USA has been at war for 99% of it’s existence. Literally 7 years out of 250 were without war, and most of those 7 were when we had mass chattel slavery. Get it through your head. Even if you get the people you want into office, the Senate was designed from the beginning to be a structure that works against the voters. Literally, by design, by the founders, explicitly.

You think a broken United States is good for the current world and you’re calling me a fool?

The US is not broken because of who gets into office. The US is broken because it’s fundamentally broken and always has been. It’s a settler state that exist ONLY because of a papal decree. The US Supreme Court has ruled on that. And no, that wasn’t a Republican appointee, it was Ruth Bader Ginsberg who published that majority opinion. The US is broken because of what it is, not because of which leaders run it. You’re arguing that we should fix the Titanic by changing captains.

Are you going to run when it goes down? Who the fuck would want you around?

Listen, you big bold white masculine fuck. No one needs your brand of bullshit anymore. Your obsolete. Your world is dying. You know who talks like you do? Hegseth. Get. Bent.

                    I don’t want…I vote

I know. Well, thanks for clarifying you vote at least. Do I need to reestablish this isn’t a personal thing? I hardly think most around here, if they vote, are red voters.

The problem is broader than those who vote well. There’s a massive subsection who can and don’t participate. Despite your view on my knowledge of the bias toward conservatives, the only easy way to a decent government on a society built on slavery and theft as I think you put it, is to vote. Well, now since you let the fascists back in it’s probably peaceful shutdown, but the options are limited to the two. That’s it. You’re not overthrowing it, the only thing you’re doing, one way or the other, is bending it to at least let you live a life.

fundamentally broken and always has been

Well…fix your shit. It’s your shit, the one and only shit you got and there’s limited ways to fix it. Sounds like you don’t have a lot to lose really.

Listen, you big bold masculine fuck

Yep, that one hits home every time. Not many of us want chickenshits mate. As has been pointed out our countries are fascist shitholes in their own way as well and we’ll have to deal with that without having to care for Americans running from a vote result.
