So people will be able to fork it and add ActivityPub integration? :D
Basically, nobody needs his shitty code. We already cooler stuff.
Why not Mastodon instead though?
I don’t understand? Isn’t Mastodon a subset of ActivityPub?
Yes, Mastodon uses the activitypub protocol. That is basically my point, that we already have a ‘federated twitter.’ So, unless I’m missing something, what would be the point of forking and adding activitypub to twitter when we already have the better version in Mastodon?
I mean, I use GoToSocial, people like Sharkey or Akkoma.
Who knows, maybe someone would prefer twitter for some reason.
Plain old Mastodon does seem the better option though
