    The article discusses how the trees are able to do this, yet you casually berate the what that the researchers wanted to explain.

      The title of the article is “giant trees have no problem pumping water to top branches”. It really doesn’t take a research scientist to understand this when evolution over millions of years have already shown the same structure in any giant trees like redwoods and sequoias are sustainable.

      The only thing they state that they proved in the article was that height was not a limiting factor in transpiration. Which, again, is already proven with millions of years of observable evidence.

      It’s like explaining to me that the sun is bright, like ya no shit, I can see it’s bright.

      Ya, I understand that height doesn’t limit a tree’s ability to transport water because these god damn trees have been doing fine for millions of years.
