    Okay, please educate me…

    Aren’t liberals left wing? As in, to the left of the political center? In Canada our Liberal government is considered to be center left. Just how much is debatable, but left.

      Depends on who you ask really. According to the classical definition leftism begins at anti-capitalism. According to the mainstream, the left begins at government social programs. (srry if i made any typos)

      (neo)liberalism is the political center (for all of the west, atleast for now but it stands on shaky legs), center left is for example social democracy and center right would be christian democracy.

        Well damn. I’ll look into this further later today when I’m not at work, but I honestly believed that liberals were center left with Tory conservatives being center right.

        If you have any links to informative articles I’d appreciate them. Never too old to learn things.
