Eventually, the residents do select one representative, who was allowed to speak for seven minutes.

To prevent a room full of people each having their requisite 3 minutes they gave one guy slightly more than double the allotted per person time.

All told though, terrible response from the county. I can understand why the group representative policy is a thing, but that shouldn’t allow the county to compel the creation of a group just to not have you hear their constituents. Hope the board gets kicked out when they can.
