Exactly my point. Flagging it at a (major)crisis point is kind of dumb, much too late for corrective/preventive measures. I’d say the warning is like 2 years late.
Oh yeah, I agree completely. It’s more of an acknowledgement that the crisis has already happened rather than a warning.

Yeah because the US economy was/is collapsing and the Democrats just kept pointing to the S&P and stock portfolios to say everything was great. Meanwhile 2/3rds of the country has deciding whether they wanted to buy food for make their car payment this week.
You’re right. It’s been interesting watching Republicans try to do the same kind of gaslighting this year, but win or lose, both sides’ wealth is secure, so at this point they’re just YOLO’ing it.
