By theatrically rejecting Iran’s comprehensive plan to end the war, Trump trapped the US at a fatal three-way crossroads: resume a losing war, accept humiliating defeat under Iran’s terms, or face endless escalation.
I didn’t realize they had toned down their demands.
The US is so dumb for not playing ball. Say maybe something later with strait management, accept removing sanctions and give back frozen funds. Then I bet they could buy half the uranium and have them dilute the other half with some enrichment compromise that’s weaker than JCPOA in reality, but stronger sounding out of Trumps mouth.
They shouldn’t. But if it leads to Trump ending the war and somehow removing sanctions and returning frozen funds, then it would be a minor inconvenience.

but why should/would they give up any uranium, especially after the US has just demonstrated that they can’t actually take it from them?
