Maybe it’s a different contract for the corporate/gov setting, but if the clause is in there, this would it make it non compliant for real work, as basically the copilot contract goes against the normal contract made to purchase the Office suite and the contract intentions, as misleading contracts could be judicialized.

Man, I wish! One of my contracts is with a gov-like org, and they’re all-in on the slop.

Reminding them about PII and sovereignty is telling, and you know they’re beyond help as soon as they say “yes, but”.

Nah, they’ll just add a “for entertainment purposes only” disclaimer to the government itself.

I work for a company that has a deal with Microsoft to use it for confidential information. Im told I can give it anything, so its not on me if they steal data.

At the bottom of the screen it always says they dont guarantee its responses are accurate. In tiny print.

I had to develop agentic solutions in Copilot Studio. It was easily the worse work I’ve ever had to do in IT, and I spent 4 years in GeekSquad/EasyTech before getting drafted to the pro league.

No, it’s just a “don’t sue us” clause. Doesn’t even necessarily mean that they can’t be sued, especially if Microsoft advertises this service to businesses or sells contracts for it for professional purposes.
