    I wish it was that easy. But see? If you skip the first step, that’s two minutes after waking up, the rest of the day is gonna be off, I’m gonna start the day badly and probably skip even some more steps of the routine out of disorientation.

    I learned with a bunch of practice to set some “checkpoints” during the day; moments in which my routine “resets” and I can restart from there. So if I skip the first step of the morning routine, it will be tough until I reach the next “checkpoint” and things can start again from there. My first comment was mostly an hyperbole (I can survive if I wake up 5 minutes late), but it has truth on it since it is really difficult to move in the day without your routines.
