OP, how long since you bought toothpaste before this one bum tube? Has it been so long that you have to contemplate if we’ve entered a new era of toothpaste tube quality?
Some toothpastes have calcium in them as an abrasive, and the fluoride will become bound to calcium over time. In that state, it’s not able to strengthen your enamel. What I’m saying is that toothpaste may have a shelf-life, so you should be buying it bit more often.
Also this sounds like a Crest shill, maybe I should push farther. In 36 years of using crest or Colgate products I have never received a product so bad. Crest has proven themselves to no longer verify they are of standard quality, not good, standard. I would call it a Fail if I were the FDA. Maybe they should have no access to the U.S. market, because they are shit now?

I bought a 4 pack about a year ago I think. It’s one thing I consider an essential so I keep them under the sink usually
