This kind of doomer speak is like a psyop to demoralize people from voting. Republicans didn’t get fascist overnight

Um sorry to tell you this but the OG Nazis were inspired by bipartisan American policy. If anything y’all should thank your lucky stars FDR did something before you went full Heil Hitler; this was long overdue.

This is such a weird twisted way to blame America for Nazis. They looked at how America maintained a system of racism and discrimination in its legal system.

The isn’t fascism, that stuff started in Italy.

It’s really hard to take leftists as anything but extremists when you all use the same historical revisionism that every extremist group uses to create their in group.

Replacing one dogmatic system with a different dogmatic system is a hard sell.

It was… uh… a lot more than that. America didn’t go fascist because their ruling class compromised during the Great Depression, but they did have all the pieces of fascism.

While a good example of the US looking the other way to get what they wanted, this was not a part of how naziism was created.

At the same time it was a common sense activity at the time, a lot of science would have been lost otherwise. In fact some of the insane things the Nazis did could have never been done otherwise and did advance medical science. The ethical argument for discarding this information is interesting but not actually compelling to me, because it doesn’t encourage others to go commit atrocities imo.

What do you want to do? Riot? Storm the capital?

You dont want to vote fine. Pick up a gun and start taking care of ice cops like a marvel character. Good luck

America has done really bad things. Bringing up Paperclip is weird. A bunch of nazi scientists were moved out of Germany. And?

Von Braun used slave labor. He should have stood trial. That’s brainwashing?

And got into schools, indoctrinated children, taught them to be powerless at the face of fascist rise in 🇺🇲. We are seeing today the fruits of those Nazi seeds planted being harvested. You either enjoy the Nazi cake being served to you by your führer, or you actually liberate comrades right now being killed in deathcamps.

There’s no trial coming for the participants of fascist violations. There never has been.

1600 scientists out of 139 Million Americans is what made America fascist? Come on. America had 10,000 members of the American Nazi party before WW2. Not to mention that not all of those scientists were die hard Nazis just like all American scientists aren’t MAGA.

Its not “doomer” to point out you can’t “reform” a system meant to benefit elites and you need to build a different system entirely.

And not a single person in this thread has a suggestion on how to move forward, just complaints that the system is irretrievably broken. Well shit, let’s all crawl into a hole and die.

Criticism is only useful when paired with suggestions on how to fix. Otherwise it’s griping at best.

Yep. Us fighting amongst ourselves is only to their benefit.

It’s a game I avoid playing so whole I may mock those who try but endeavor to never engage with anyone that does it. Best I can hope for is to get someone to self evaluate.
