      Country well known for constant invigilation, killing opposition, journalists, activists, LGBT people and so on. Country that wants to rebuild old imperium, attacked Ukraine and want to demilitarize eaastern Europe and so on.

            Imperialism is not just through war, you know that, right? France subjugates many African nations through the CFA franc, or coups, or extraction of their materials like Uranium.

            France doesn’t need to start wars, because they already dominate many countries economically. This is ridiculous.

            How many times wanted other independent country to cut ties to its allies and get rid of military?

            France is infamous for backing coups against African nations that go against their wishes.

                OK. I’ve read the article you linked. Just from it alone.

                In return for their security services, companies from the wider Wagner network are exploiting a gold mine in the CAR and cutting valuable tropical timber, among other things. Others brew beer, sell vodka in Bangui or trade sugar.

                How on earth are you actually trying to equate this to French neocolonialism, lol. France literally controls the currencies of FOURTEEN AFRICAN NATIONS. The french privately control tons of mines across west africa, gold and uranium. https://jacobin.com/2023/12/france-africa-empire-neocolonialism-domestic-far-right-repression-elites as an example.

                This isn’t even mentioning the history of France in Africa, which is incredibly relevant to analyzing its modern relations with African countries. I’m not denying Russia does bad things. I’m saying you’re full of shit by saying it’s the most imperialist country in Europe.
