The Ukrainian president said that now "is a time for battle" and that holding presidential elections in such circumstances was not appropriate.

    Not to mention a large part of the voter ase has fled the country and are living abroad as refugees. Also the logistics of having soldiers rotate off the front to be able to vote would be mindboggling and very dangerous for all involved.

    No elections makes sense.
